i feel like writing poetry. i will, but i should make my thoughts clear.

i went on a journey and now that journey comes to an end which is really the beginning. soon i will leave and embark on the Umra. i really look forward to it, being so close to the creator. so beautiful. millions of people will be there, all praying to him, allah swt, asking to be forgiven, asking to be shown the right path, and i will be one of them.

but once the journey is over, i will start life anew. i plan on going back to college to pursue a degree in Islamic Studies which i also plan on teaching, going to try to get a PhD in it.

Even before this though, i have to memorize the Holy Quran and then try to follow its path and become an alim, a person who has been educated and knows almost everything about Islam.

Now, i feel i can enter society, i can talk to people cause i did the soul searching and found out who i am, who ali is, and i myself was surprised.

An angle was asked, "what is heaven?"
They answered: "Every heart where love dwells is heaven itself!"
"what is hell?"
"A heart without love is hell."

heh for her.

Hidden in the veil of nature is a touch of sorrow
The world around us is mellow
Time is slumbering
Lost and forgotten memories fill my heart

It is hard to describe this affliction
I wonder to myself
Does she belong to me?
We walk side by side but distances separates us
Like two shores of the ocean that never meet
She is near yet so far
I cannot endure this yearning
A wall of glass keeps us apart

I heard a song
My heart chose her
What is this story that time tells me?

If i am filled with sadness
She is forlorn too
Loneliness casts a shadow on our encounters
We meet and yet we do not meet
Flowers bloom and yet they do not
Spring in our eyes, autumn in our hearts
